Topshop Hits the Runway

TopShop is a boutique in London (there is another one in the city as well in case you don't have your passport ready). I believe that this show took place during LA's Fashion Week at Smashbox. I love the pieces that appeared on the runway and definitely had to share with all of you of course.

I love the white dress seen here. This is great in so many ways and can be worn to work, out to an event or just with your friends for a night out. It's simple and I hope it travels well because it would be a staple in my wardrobe wherever I went.

I love this peachy dress, it's cute and I love how it wraps around the neck. This is perfect to wear in the Hamptons or anywhere that's a little resort like. This is the first thing I would wear to my weekly brunch as well.

The model wearing this dress looked so cute that I had to take a second thought on this dress. Although I personally would not wear it, it could be cute. Also, I would pair large accessories with it since I am a fan of proportion. This is cute to run errands prior to going to a gallery to visit your friend's work or even on a date.

Fashion Week in Moscow

Moscow Fashion Week brought about some interesting styles that remind me of a variety of books I read, bringing the characters to life essentially. This old world meets the new world is a great look and a bit of theatre as well.

I love the colors of all three outfits and am a huge fan of the dress in the middle. These outfits are begging for large accessories that give you extra glitter.

This black and white ensemble is eye catching and also plays up those classic Victorian elements. I love the tall hat, the gloves and the stark elements.

All I can say is this piece is my favorite - love the hat and the outfit as well.

Mumbai Fashion Week Part II

This post completes the recent Fashion Week with a variety of fabulous looks. Once again I am always amazed to see what comes down the runway.

I love this red dress! I like how the material flows and I love how they paired it with a black belt as well. It's a sassy look.

This cream/golden look is perfect - it brings out the inner empress.

This cute and sassy white ensemble is perfect to run around, attend a premier or any other event!

Mumbai Fashion Week Part I

I love during Fashion Week you are exposed to a variety of ideas. In addition, as you leave Fashion Week in NY, Miami and in LA, it's interesting to see different styles get re-interpreted.

The simple black dress gets a pop of color that makes this a step above the typical dress. This is perfect for cocktails, brunches and more. I simply love it!

Black is redone again with this fabulous dress that brings a standard combination together - black and white. The cut of this dress is perfect and you will love wearing this dress to dance the night away. In addition, the model of this dress is actually a Bollywood actress that is very famous.

This is probably one of my favorite outfits. I love the color and love this hoodie set which is perfect for going to brunch or running errands as you carry your signature large bag.

This is a regal ensemble that is perfect for a special dinner date - I'm thinking one of those "straight out of the movies" scenes where this amazing guy takes you to the rooftop of a building to surprise you with a catered 5 star meal.

The cream ensemble is eye catching and I would love to wear this to a special event, visiting showrooms or an exhibit of some sort.

Kevin Hall is a Master at Evening Wear

Kevin Hall has fabulous designs and I am a huge fan of his evening wear due to the use of fabrics and the way he understands the way women want to look and feel when they are out for the night or whatever event that they are attending. Both looks below reflect his style and are worth a second look!

I love the way this dress flows, there is something inspiring and very casual about this dramatic dress. There is something of a Grecian inspired look to this dress that brings out the inner Aphrodite in all of us. I also love the belt that is incorporated into this dress which allows it to be adorned without having additional jewelry with it.

This dress is fabulous because of the color and I love the one shoulder look that it presents! This is another Grecian inspired piece that incorporates the sash as well. This dress is nothing but regal and one that you would definitely stand out no matter who was in the room.

Something new for me ... Katti Zoob

I love seeing something new, Katti Zoob is a designer that I have recently become aware of. I believe this image was taken during Indian Fashion Week. If you have a flare for the dramatic or are in a situation where the pop factor is necessary, I would suggest something like this! I love the use of fabric and the color which is a great use of neutrals that allow the elements to speak for themselves.

Fabulous Swimwear Takes to the Runway

I could live in a bathing suit if someone let me, these fabulous suits were made by a Columbian designer who definitely knows how to create a suit that makes a statement whether you are coming or going. The vibrant colors and daring angles or perfect for your inner sun babe regardless of whether you take a dip or not!

I love the striped bikini top that breaks up the pink and makes it something that will leave tongues wagging; moreover, the yellow bottom has a bit of sexy whimsy which is absolutely fabulous!

I am also a huge fan of the model on the left who has the pink and black combination! It's so easy to find black bikinis but nice to see one that has a little panache to it, the pop of pink is perfect. Although I can't see the model on the right, brown is a fabulous color on a suit as well.

Etienne Aigner Takes to the Runway

Runway shows definitely get me excited in thinking about ways that I want to enhance my style. Even if it's something that probably won't find its way into my closet, I am always interested in seeing how another's vision culminated into a fascinating show that's litteraly over before it begings. Etienne Aigner took to the runway this month and I had to include two stunning pictures from the show. I have always been a fan of their accessories and I enjoy seeing their use of color and proportion within these fabulous shots.

I love the dress that the model is wearing. It's a great style and a classic print and of course I am always a fan of the large oversized bag. This screams St Tropez to me and a fabulous dinner after a long day kicking back at the beach.

Who wouldn't love being the lady in red in this strappless and very classic dress?
